Baguettes are similar to the emerald cut in calculation. Many times in a multi-baguette mounting, you may consider a faster method to determine estimated weights, such as the clear plastic template or loose diamond comparison. For an accurate assessment of weight, use this formula:

Length x Width x Depth x .00915

For tapered baguettes, average the two unmatched ends and plug that figure into the formula as one width
