This professional quality ultrasonic cleaner with heater is an invaluable tool in a shop that deals in quantities of secondhand jewelry.
A steamer makes quick work of eliminating the detergent and loose dirt after it is removed from the ultrasonic.
Make sure the diamond in the mounting is very clean. If an ultra-sonic cleaner and steamer is not available use a diluted household cleaner in warm water and lightly clean the diamond with a soft brush. Focus the cleaning on the pavilion of the diamond where most of the grime will be trapped. When finished cleaning rinse under hot water.
