Get all the details including: Do I qualify for memorandums? Is this diamond available? Can you fax a copy of the report? What is the exact price of the stone including shipping charges? Do you still charge for shipping if a sale takes place? (Some dealers waive the charge upon a sale). What are the terms of the memo and if a sale occurs what are the terms of payment? Can you please loupe the stone for me and give me your opinion of the grade? Are the crystals noted on the "Key to Symbols" dark or white in color? What about the cavity size noted in the "Key to Symbols" For elongated fancy shapes: How would you rate the intensity of the bow tie? Are there high shoulders? Are there any dead spots in the stone? By asking these questions you can pass along the information to the customer and further qualify them for a diamond that fits their needs.
