In addition to the reference book (called the red book in the trade), JBT also allows a member to call and get current information on a company that perhaps isn't rated, or that hasn't been in business long enough to even be listed. Many times newer jewelry businesses are not listed because the JBT has not been informed through their resources of the company's existence. JBT also offers internet access to rating information.
