Receiving and Sending Diamonds

As discussed earlier when receiving diamonds via U.S. mail, FedEx, UPS, etc., precautions must be taken to avoid problems and liabilities. When opening a package, check the memorandum or invoice to make sure the contents match the description. When sending a package out, double check the stones to make sure nothing is left out, including an accurate description of the merchandise on a memo or receipt.
