Handling a Culet
Rubber-tipped tweezers are an excellent way to safely handle culets, extremely thin girdles and points on fancy shapes.
When handling a diamond, be very careful when holding it in tweezers between the table and culet. If there is a pointed culet (or "none" as printed on many lab reports), it should only be handled by the girdle (perimeter) of the diamond or with rubber-padded tweezers.
